Coldplay Confirm New Album Title Head Full Of Dreams In Studio Update
Coldplay have launched a new online timeline that tracks the history of the band from their humble beginnings up ’til now, and the most recent item confirms that their next album will be called A Head Full Of Dreams as Chris Martin previously told Zane Lowe. Here’s the band’s note about their progress in the studio:
Meanwhile, Reddit points to a tweet announcing several new Coldplay song titles registered with ASCAP:

You may recall that Martin compared A Head Full Of Dreams, Coldplay’s seventh album, to Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series, hinting that this might be Coldplay’s last record. Still, it’s hard to believe they’re actually call a song “Voldemort.” And despite drummer Will Champion’s guest appearance on Game Of Thrones in 2013, they can’t possibly be writing a tune called “Rastafarian Targaryen,” can they?
Anyhow, if they manage to release A Head Full Of Dreams this year, little more than a year after Ghost Stories, that would represent an especially rapid turnaround by Coldplay standards. Check out Coldplay Timeline here.
