Diplo may be firmly ensconced in the big-money EDM universe these days, but he still knows how to craft a remix that pushes a song in interesting places without just throwing farty bass-drops all over it. Case in point: Diplo has teamed up with the Toronto producer Grandtheft to rework Rihanna's anthemic new single "Bitch Better Have My Money." And while the remix is the sort of big, energetic slapper that could make Coachella's Sahara Tent go up, it's got a sense of strut and syncopation to it, with insistent handclaps and hesitation-dropkick 808s making the track sound that much more urgent.
