Julian Casablancas + The Voidz Hosting “Human Sadness” Viewing Events Across North America
Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have been incessantly teasing the video for “Human Sadness” (off of last year’s Tyranny) since it was announced back in November, and just last week we saw the trailer for what’s fated to be an impressive, post-apocalyptic spectacle. The song itself is 11 minutes long, which leaves a lot of time for a variety of visual narrative interpretations. The video was slated to premiere 5/20 in Los Angeles, but now it’s been announced that there will be a series of simultaneous screenings in Brooklyn, Chicago, Denver, Washington D.C., Boston, Miami, Nashville, and Montreal the same night, a week before it goes online 5/27. The video was directed by Warren Fu and Nicholaus Goosen; check out the full screening schedule here, and watch the trailer below.
