Watch A$AP Rocky And Vince Staples In The DOPE Red Band Trailer
A$AP Rocky has a busy summer ahead. He’s releasing his highly-anticipated new album At.Long.Last.A$AP. and has a major role in a movie called DOPE that was co-executive produced by Pharrell Williams and Sean Combs. Today, they’ve released the red band trailer for the movie, which also stars Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Kimberly Elise, Chanel Iman, Keith Stanfield, and Quincy Brown and includes appearances by Zoë Kravitz, Vince Staples, and Blake Anderson (Workaholics). The film debuted at Sundance and was enthusiastically received by audiences and critics. It follows the story of a kid (Moore) who grew up in a rough neighborhood and is trying to avoid trouble. But of course, he runs into Rocky, the drug dealer, gets invited to a cool kids party, and gets sucked into a drug ring! From nerd to dealer in a matter of days, what are the odds? Luckily, it also has great writing, lots of humor, and four brand new songs from Pharrell. Watch the red band trailer below.
DOPE is out 6/19.
