Grimes has been hard at work on a Visions follow-up for a while now. Rejected Rihanna single "Go" seemed like more of an outlier than a beacon of things to come, and "REALiTi" came from the version of the album that she scrapped, so we really have no idea how this album will sound. But it looks like we won't have to wait too long to find out. In a Twitter reply yesterday, Grimes said that we should expect an album in October, which isn't that far off. She also noted that it'll be a surprise release, and that it will feature "real instruments" and is "very different from anything previous." Here are her tweets:
