Brandon Flowers has been doing plenty of covers as he tours in support of his new solo album The Desired Effect, including several classic songs from the likes of INXS, the Pretenders, and New Order. His latest, though, is a collaboration with a significantly less famous performer. Singer-songwriter Joe Pug has been opening for Flowers during several dates on his European tour, and Flowers brought Pug back out during the encore at his show in Amsterdam on Monday so the two could perform Pug’s “If Still It Can’t Be Found” together. In the footage below, Flowers also talks at length about his respect for his opening act and what drew him to the song. Watch.
