Thom Yorke Announces Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Show In Tokyo
Even though Thom Yorke released Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes last year, he still hasn’t done any shows in support of his new material. But last night, producer/friend Nigel Godrich announced that Yorke would play his first solo show since the release on 8/15 as part of Tokyo’s Summersonic Festival. He’ll be playing an all-night show at the Hostess Club. Godrich added that he “will be there with some modern boxes,” and that artist Tarik Barri will provide visuals. Joining him on the lineup will be FFS (the new Franz Ferdinand/Sparks supergroup), Spiritualized, Jon Hopkins, Matthew Herbert, and Bo Ningen.
