Watch Weird Al Record A Song In Third Man Records’ Voice-O-Graph Booth
At the Third Man Records store in Nashville, there’s a refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph machine that lets visitors record up to two minutes of audio and receive a one-of-a-kind phonograph disc in return. Usually the record booth is home to wannabe musicians looking for a novelty item, but last month Weird Al Yankovic was in town and visited the booth, and he videotaped his time in the cramped recording studio. He and a few of his band members did a truncated version of his Yoda chant. Watch below.
