Watch Tyler, The Creator And Vince Staples Freestyle On Hot 97
I always had a vague sense that Tyler, The Creator and Vince Staples didn’t get along, mostly because Staples rapped on a whole lot of Earl Sweatshirt and Mike G tracks back in the day but never joined Odd Future. But the two of them sure looked happy on a recent edition of Peter Rosenberg’s Hot 97 show. Staples was there to promote his much-anticipated new album Summertime ’06, which he did by rapping very well over OutKast’s “ATLiens” before trailing off into mumbles. And Tyler, also in the studio for some reason, showed up to rap completely off the top of his head over Lil Kim’s “No Time,” which turned out to be way better than you’d imagine. Watch their session below.

I like how Tyler rapped about having threesomes with Staples and Staples immediately cut in: “No!”
