The Texan retro-soul singer Leon Bridges seems destined for big things. His entire aesthetic seems beamed in directly from 1963, which is not an accident, and he's a confident enough revivalist to tackle the sorts of sounds that old masters like Sam Cooke once introduced. Bridges' debut album Coming Home comes out today, and last night, he was a musical guest on The Tonight Show. He gave a smooth and likable performance of the album's title track, and you can watch it below.
