Watch Billie Joe Armstrong & Norah Jones Perform A Surprise Covers Set In NYC
In 2013, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones put out a collaborative album called Foreverly, which was inspired by the Everly Brothers’ 1958 record Songs Our Daddy Taught Us. They never toured behind the album, but last night they got together for a surprise concert at the intimate Bowery Electric in Manhattan. They performed the album in full, opening their set with the traditional song “Roving Gambler.” Watch video of that below.
