Veruca Salt – “Empty Bottle”
Mid-’90s grunge-pop wonders Veruca Salt are back together and getting ready to release Ghost Notes, their first album in 17 years. We’ve posted a bunch of their new songs: “The Museum Of Broken Relationships,” “It’s Holy,” “The Gospel According To Saint Me,” “Laughing In The Sugar Bowl.” And now they’ve shared another one called “Empty Bottle.” It’s a powerful example of the ’90s radio-rock whisper-to-scream style, a fragile ballad that builds to a raging chorus. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Listen below.
Ghost Notes is out 7/10 on El Camino Records.
