Lil Wayne just announced his Lil Weezyana Fest, which will hit New Orleans’ Champions Square on 8/28. And, as the Times-Picayune reports, the first confirmed artist on the lineup is Weezy’s late ’90s supergroup the Hot Boys, also featuring Juvenile, Turk, and Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh filling in for fourth member B.G., who was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2012. This will be the Hot Boys’ first live performance in over 10 years. “I’m coming home to give my city a real show for all its support, and I’m bringing some of my good friends in the industry,” Lil Wayne said in an interview today with DJ Wild Wayne on Q93.3FM. “Please come out, enjoy yourself, lose your mind. I will find it for you later, and return it back.”
