Massachusetts chamber-pop trio Gem Club released their album In Roses a year and a half ago, but they’re just now getting around to dropping a video for their hushed, lovely single “Braid.” The clip, from director Christian Palmer, is a surreal romantic vision that tells the story of a boy with a reptilian monster mask sewn onto his face and a girl who finds a toy piano inside her dead cat. It’s got a lot of blood, and it doesn’t make the tiniest bit of sense. I like it. Noisey posted the video, and you can watch it below.
