Gun Outfit’s fourth album, Dream All Over, was preceded by the duo’s move to Los Angeles from the Olympia punk scene that bred them, and their music followed suit. Already the softest band on the hardcore bill, “Gotta Wanna” hews their rough edges down even further, making for some sufficiently pleasant and occasionally transcendent dust-rock. The new track sees Dylan Sharp and Carrie Keith dueting over a shuffling guitar line — “I’m a stranger getting stranger still,” Sharp sings. “If you don’t see your luck, you probably never will.” Listen below via FADER.
