Dogs On Acid – “Make It Easy”
There isn’t a shred of pretension to be found on the first two singles we’ve heard from Dogs On Acid’s forthcoming EP, and that’s an impressive feat for a band who manages to contain big, overwhelming emotions in small cages. “Make It Easy” starts with a series of sing-song cliches, little rhymes that stack up to reach a bigger statement: “The stop and go, the ebb and flow/ Is a batting cage, in our personified rage.” This is a hook-heavy contemplation; listen to it below via Brooklyn Vegan and check out the EP’s first single “The Prick.”
Dogs On Acid is out 8/28 via Jade Tree.
