Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah Join NBC’s The Wiz Live!

After NBC struck success with 2013's The Sound Of Music Live! and last year's Peter Pan Live!, it looks like they'll be doing a musical every year from now on. Their next adaptation is The Wiz and, as EW reports, they've wrangled two big stars to headline: Queen Latifah will play the titular character and Mary J. Blige will be the Wicked Witch Of The West. They'll join a cast that includes original Wiz Broadway cast member Stephanie Mills, who will play Auntie Em. The search for a newcomer to fill Dorothy's role continues. The Wiz Live! will air on 12/3 on NBC.
