Feud Between Whitney Houston And Bobby Brown’s Families Erupts At Bobbi Kristina’s Funeral
Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, passed away last Sunday at 22, six months after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home. Today’s funeral service at Alpharetta, Georgia’s St. James United Methodist Church was marred by tension between her parents’ families. As the BBC reports, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown, sister of R&B singer Bobby Brown, left the service after an outburst directed towards Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager. She spoke to the media outside the church, saying the funeral “went wonderful, until Pat started speaking, and I didn’t like that, so I left,” after telling Pat “that Whitney was going to haunt her from the grave.” And it doesn’t look like this feud is going away anytime soon — Leolah also told reporters, “This is gonna be a long, drawn-out thing, trust me. It’s not over.” In a statement following Bobbi Kristina’s death, Bobby Brown said, “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time.”
