Brandon Flowers has been serving up a bunch of covers on his tour in support of his recent solo album, The Desired Effect -- so far, he's done the Pretenders (with Chriss Hynde), New Order (with Bernard Sumner, Spoon, Joe Pug, and the White Stripes. The latest to warrant a cover is Buster Poindexter, the alter ego of New York Dolls' David Johansen. At Flowers' show at the House Of Blues in Boston last night, he covered "Heart Of Gold" alongside his tour opener Donald Cumming. Watch it out and compare it to the original below.
