Miley Cyrus To Host SNL Season Premiere
Miley Cyrus will host Saturday Night Live’s season premiere, which makes a lot of sense. Cyrus is already hosting the VMAs later this month, and her cover of Paul Simon’s “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover” was one of the highlights of SNL’s 40th anniversary special. Does this mean we can expect cameos from Wayne Coyne, Mike Will Made It, and Laura Jane Grace? Let’s hope so. Presumably Cyrus will also be the musical guest, in which case maybe she’ll even share some of that new music she’s been working on with the Flaming Lips.
Cyrus hosts the show on 10/3, followed by a couple more equally exciting hosts: 10/10 brings ascendant comedy queen Amy Schumer, and on 10/17 it’s SNL hero Tracy Morgan, making his grand return after a horrible car accident.
