On his own, Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio makes warm, homespun, gently emotive dance-pop. He’s been releasing singles and EPs for a few years, and next month, he’ll release his first-ever solo album The Names. And after sharing the early tracks “Brainwash Yyrr Face,” “Sister Of Pearl,” and “Endless Rhythm,” he’s now letting us hear the album’s title track. Like a lot of Baio fans, it’s got an extremely pleasant Balearic New Order vibe working for it. Check it out below.
