DRYNX – “Black Goblin” Video
DRYNX is a mysterious and deeply silly new project from Lansing-Dreiden/Violens mastermind and prolific indie-world producer Jorge Elbrecht. The recently surprise-released Imperial Blastman is all dinky, kitschy absurdity, and that absurdity is on full, glorious display in the new video for “Black Goblin.” The song itself interpolates and references ’80s classics like “You Can Call Me Al,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” swapping out some words for new and improved goblin-lyrics, and the video features the enigmatic DRYNX man himself (actually Elbrecht’s non-musician friend Kevin Faerkin, a former GM of NYC’s Grand Central Oyster Bar) rocking the same outfit seen on the album cover.
Imperial Blastman is out now.
