Loma Prieta are the music equivalent of heavy, emotional anger and distress. Not “I want to punch a wall; I’m so fucking angry,” but a tear-jerking, I-can’t-believe-this-is-happening anger. We heard “Love,” the first single from their upcoming LP, a couple weeks ago, and today’s follow-up, via the A.V. Club, brings it just as hard. “Never Remember” wastes no time in building speed — it’s a quick, two-minute hardcore symphony full of frenzied screaming. Listen below.
