The Austin producer Eric Dingus has some kind of vague affiliation with Drake’s OVO Sound label, and a hazy DJ mix from Dingus was probably the highlight of Drake’s first OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1 Radio. Now OVO’s blog has shared Dingus’ new mixtape Is There In Truth No Beauty, which apparently got its title from Star Trek. It’s a heady, woozy instrumental album that combines ethereal, chiming chords with rap and R&B samples, and it includes a remix of Marvin Gaye’s “Whats Goin’ On,” which is bold.
