Stream JK Flesh Nothing Is Free EP
Justin K. Broadrick co-founded Napalm Death as a teenager, and more recently, he’s led the recently-reunited dark-hearted industrial metal legends Godflesh and the bottomlessly sad shoegaze-metal project Jesu. He’s also releasing a collaborative album with Sun Kil Moon next year. But as Brooklyn Vegan points out, Broadrick’s latest album comes from one of this many other alter-egos. Under the name JK Flesh, Broadrick makes slow, heavy, generally crush electronic noise, and he’s just put together a new nine-track, 55-minute record called Nothing Is Free. It’s album-length, but he’s calling it an EP. And you can check out the whole thing below.
The digital-only Nothing Is Free is out now on Avalanche Recordings.
