Sydney synth-pop trio Mansionair know how to spin a web of sticky, glistening whisper-pop. Their latest song “Speak Easy” evokes the same foggy tenderness of say, William Fitzsimmons or Sam Beam, but spikes it with surging electronic production and airy percussion. This new track follows up Mansionair’s debut 2014 EP Hold Me Down that came out through Chvrches’ Goodbye Records imprint. They were in good company there following up initial signee SOAK, and are now officially signed to Glassnote. This fall Mansionair will be opening up for the Scottish synthpop superstars.
