Amy Bezunartea, a singer-songwriter based in New York City, specializes in telling uncomfortable things over sparse, lovely music. That’s what she did on “New Villain” and “Oh The Things A Girl Must Do,” two songs from her forthcoming album New Villain. And that’s what she does on the quietly devastating new track “Something To Show You.” Over minimal guitar and piano sounds, Buzunartea coos, “I’ll I’ve ever done is want / I don’t know how to have.” It’s a very pretty gut-kick of a song, and you can hear it below.
