Next week, Montreal punks Ought will follow up their wiry, powerful 2014 debut More Than Any Other Day with the new album Sun Coming Down, a full-length that brings a very similar balance of expansiveness and intensity. Sun Coming Down is a feverish and immersive record, its intricate guitar-tangles and acerbic bleats calling back to an earlier era of post-punk. We’ve posted the early tracks “Beautiful Blue Sky” and “Men For Miles,” but the whole thing is very much worth hearing. Stream it below.
