When he's not fronting Future Islands, Samuel T. Herring occasionally moonlights as a rapper. Recently, he's been putting out stuff under the name Trouble Knows Me (a collaboration with Madlib), but he also has an alter ego called Hemlock Ernst. He appears under that name in a new video and track from Australian rap group Curse Ov Dialect. It's called "Twisted Strangers," and features Herring -- ahem, sorry, Hemlock Ernst -- driving around his current home base of Baltimore. Check it out via Pitchfork below.
