Watch Foo Fighters Cover “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” & “Gold Dust Woman” With Stevie Nicks & Haim In L.A.
The Foo Fighters may have been global rock stars for upwards of 20 years, but they continue to carry themselves like weekend-warrior rocker dads who somehow woke up and discovered that they were global rock stars. They’ve been doing a rock fantasy-camp thing at their live shows recently, and that extended to their show at the Forum in L.A. last night. There, they brought out elemental rock queen Stevie Nicks to sing a couple of songs: Her 1981 Tom Petty duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” and a nine-minute take on “Gold Dust Woman,” which I would argue is Fleetwood Mac’s best song ever. Fleetwood Mac acolytes Haim also came out to add to the squall. (They previously covered “Rhiannon” with Nicks last year.) Watch a couple of fan-made videos below.
Well, that ruled. Those songs rule.
