Heems, formerly of Das Racist, released the very good and sorely underrated solo album Eat Pray Thug earlier in the year. And now, after making videos for “Sometimes” and “Damn Girl,” he’s got a new one for the smeary club track “Pop Song (Games).” As The FADER reports, he says he recorded it in less than an hour with no budget, and you can sort of tell. Big Rebz directs, throwing psychedelic filters on a scene of Heems and a young lady having a living-room dance party. Heems also shared a new track “Coconut Oil (London),” a flirtatious jam about wanting a “bad Punjabi girl to put coconut oil in my hair.” Watch the video and listen to the new song below.
