Watch Eddie Vedder & Beyoncé Cover “Redemption Song” At Global Citizen Fest
At tonight’s Global Citizen Fest in NYC’s Central Park, Pearl Jam ended their 12 song set with covers of John Lennon, Bob Marley, and Neil Young. Sitting without his band on acoustic guitar, Eddie Vedder was joined on Marley’s “Redemption Song” by Beyoncé, who performed and introduced First Lady Michelle Obama earlier in the night. A clip from late civil rights leader Nelson Mandela’s anti-poverty speech in London in 2005 played over them mid-song. Watch the duet below.

Kicking off the charity event, Coldplay debuted “Amazing Day” and frontman Chris Martin did an acoustic “Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart” with Ariana Grande.
