Pity Sex – “What Might Soothe You”
The scrappy, punk-indebted Ann Arbor shoegaze band Pity Sex went to Philadelphia to record White Hot Moon, the follow-up to 2013’s impressive Feast Of Love, with producer Will Yip. As NPR reports, the first single from the new album is “What Might Sooth You,” a surging and tempestuous relationship song with vocals from Pity Sex’s two singer/guitarists, Brennan Greaves and Britty Drake. Below, listen to the song and read a statement about it from drummer/lyricist Sean St. Charles.
White Hot Moon is coming next spring on Run For Cover.
