Stove – “Wet Food”
Steve Hartlett’s new band Stove is partially a reimagining of post-breakup Ovlov members and some other musicians from their local Connecticut scene. Initially, Stove introduced themselves on the song “Liverwurst” and followed that up with our premiere of “Jock Dreams,” the first song off their forthcoming album Is Stupider. “Wet Food” is the follow up, a coiled guitar-driven reflection on the hope of moving forward, and what inevitably holds us back. Listen.
