Small Black were riding high on the chill wave back in 2010 with their debut, New Chain, and they’re keeping the spirit of that sound alive with their latest, Best Blues, which is the most vibrant album they’ve put out yet but still keeps the watercolor sheen of their previous releases. We’ve already heard a few tracks from the Brooklyn band’s new record, including “Boys Life,” “No One Wants It To Happen To You,” and “Back At Belle’s,” and today they’re streaming the whole thing via NPR.
