Last month, Beirut ended a long break between albums when they released the new LP No No No, and they’ve been on the late-night circuit since before it dropped. First, they played the album’s title track on Seth Meyers. Then, during Stephen Colbert’s first night hosting Late Night, they turned up on horn-section duty in his all-star band. And last night, they were the musical guests on Conan. They played the graceful waltz “So Allowed,” flexing their horn skills again and bringing some real gravitas to the late-night stage.
