St. Vincent Is Waitressing At A Dallas Taqueria This Weekend
As of this weekend, Dallas has a new taco restaurant. Resident Taqueria, owned by St. Vincent’s brother-in-law and sister, just opened on Thursday, and Annie Clark herself has been helping out:
@st_vincent thank you for refilling our napkin dispenser last night!

@spants funny/unbelievable story regarding her

@spants last night my friend and I went to a new taco shop that is apparently owned by her sister and brother-in-law. guess who was there

@spants she was WORKING. clearing tables. restocking Topo Chico. she refilled the napkin dispenser on our table. this is a strange world.

Unsurprisingly, Dallas residents who are fans of both St. Vincent and tacos seem psyched about it — read one fan’s extensive, star-struck account of interacting with Ms. Clark at the restaurant here — and this is definitely another strike in the “St. Vincent is a pretty cool human being” (or alien robot queen, or whatever) column. It’s not guaranteed that she’ll still be working today — she is fairly busy herself, after all — but if you’re in the area and feeling peckish, it’s probably worth checking it out.
