Watch Acoustic Chili Peppers, Kamasi Washington, & John Legend Covering Springsteen At Intimate Benefit Gala
Last night, Red Hot Chili Peppers leaders Flea and Anthony Kiedis held a swanky benefit gala at an undisclosed warehouse in the Frogtown neighborhood of LA. The super-exclusive, 300-seat event saw art by famous people like Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Shepard Fairey, Gus Van Sant, and Dennis Hopper auctioned off for charity, with the proceeds going to support the Silverlake Conservatory Of Music. The night also featured an acoustic RHCP set, which included a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s classic “Fire,” a performance by acclaimed LA jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington, and a headlining set from John Legend, who covered Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark.” Watch footage from all three performances below.
