A Sunny Day In Glasgow came back with renewed light last year after a hushed, four-year break with the fantastic LP Sea When Absent. They’re prepping the release of a double EP titled Planning Weed Like It’s Acid / Life Is Loss: Pop Songs 2015 by sharing some choice singles, including “Jet Black, Starlit,” and now, “Hey, You’re Mine.” With its jubilant pace and festive synth wheels, the song is comparably more colorful and cheeky then their last track. There’s a sense of celebration in the way Jen Goma’s voice beams out “Hey, you’re mine” amidst all the sparkling, sashaying instruments. Listen below, via Spin.
