Record Store Day Black Friday 2015 List Revealed
Record Store Day, remiss not to stay in its own designated time in April, has been throwing a second, slightly smaller iteration of its event for Black Friday for the last few years, and the organization has just announced the roster of exclusives that you can expect in participating shops come the day after Thanksgiving. It looks to be mostly color variants of reissues this time around (so exciting!), hoping to get everyone jazzed into buying records for the holiday season. They include a “puffy sleve” 12-inch of Beck’s “Dreams” single, a 7-inch of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight,” a Dave Matthews Band 4xLP, David Bowie’s Earthling, the Clash’s self-titled debut (only 5,000 copies!), a glow-in-the dark 12″ of MGMT’s “Time To Pretend,” and the Garden State soundtrack. But, for real, I’m sure there’s some interesting ones here: Check out the full list of releases here.
