GUM -- no relation to the website you're reading -- is the project of Tame Impala/Pond sideman Jay Watson. As Pitchfork reports, he'll release his second album Glamorous Damage next month. It's preceded by album opener "Anesthetized Lesson," a liquid psych-funk song that imagines what Currents might have sounded like with a more playful, cartoonish streak.
