Karen O’s been super into the soundtrack game for a while now — she scored Where The Wild Things Are, wrote and got an Oscar nomination for Her’s “Moon Song,” worked with Trent Reznor to cover “Immigrant Song” for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and did the theme song for upcoming ballet drama Flesh And Bone — and her latest contribution is to the upcoming video game Rise Of The Tomb Raider, and her track for it is appropriately called “I Shall Rise.”

The full track will be released tomorrow, but you can hear a preview of it in a new trailer for the game. O talked to Rolling Stone about the song, saying: “You know how Gloria Gaynor has her ‘I Will Survive’? I always wanted to do my version of that and this was it.” She continued: “It all sounded really tasty, They wanted drama and high-stakes and melodrama. That was very appealing to me because I love making music connected to a storyline. It was all stuff I loved like having the theme song to [Lara Croft] becoming an icon and the creation myth to the moment she becomes Lara.”
