Back in 2012, Tim Kasher, Matt Maginn, and Ted Stevens of Nebraskan indie rockers Cursive and Chris Machmuller of Ladyfinger purchased O’Leavers Pub in Omaha. They’ve been using the space to host small DIY shows, and they had the excellent idea to start recording performances professionally and releasing them. Live At O’Leavers is the fruit of that labor, and Maginn recently brought the project to our attention. The most recent bands to be featured in the series are Speedy Ortiz, recent Album Of The Week honorees Beach Slang, and the Hussy.
