Björk has posted a PSA calling for global action to prevent the destruction of Iceland’s highlands. “Icelanders have a deadline. For 11 more days they can go online and protest an overhead high voltage power-line. It will be built across the whole island. Iceland has now the largest untouched nature in Europe. This would end that,” she says in the short clip. This weekend, Björk will hold a press conference at Iceland Airwaves discussing their initiative more.
