Astropol’s music was allegedly inspired by the likes of Suicide and Willy DeVille (no relation), though this song’s shoegaze haze, crisp electronic drums, and tender celestial singalong remind me of the ’90s more than the ’70s. “You can make love leave, but you can’t make love stay,” goes the chorus.
