Watch Coldplay Cover “Imagine” In Tribute To Paris
Coldplay’s show at LA’s Belasco Theater last night was supposed to be a big event, livestreamed via Tidal and KROQ and featuring brand new material from their upcoming album A Head Full Of Dreams. But in light of the tragic violence in Paris, those plans were postponed, and the band instead played a short acoustic set of old material, including some rare live songs. They played “Sparks” for the first time since 2007 and “Us Against The World” for the first time since 2012, and they opened the concert with a new cover of John Lennon’s “Imagine,” dedicated to the people of Paris.
