The synth pop of Brooklyn-based artist Brothertiger is enchantingly warm and cottony, as if it’s cloaked in a fuzzy aura. Sole operator John Jagos sings in a soft reverie above easy melodies and vibrant synth tones, like a more at-ease Tanlines. Out Of Touch is his third full-length, following 2013’s, Future Splendors, and his debut, Golden Years. According to Jagos, his aim with Out Of Touch is to “create an auditory journey through a metaphorical jungle of emotional states—from tribulation, despair and fatigue to serenity, joy and tranquility.” We’ve heard “Wake,” and now you can stream the full album below.
