The National’s Bryce Dessner had a hand in the score for the upcoming film The Revenant (which, no, does not have a scene where Leonardo DiCaprio is raped by a bear). He’s shared one of his contributions, “Imagining Buffalo,” today, which was performed by conductor Andre de Ridder and s t a r g a z e. The rest of the score was written by Alva Noto and Ryichi Sakamoto. Listen to the Dessner track via Pitchfork below.

The Revenant is in select theaters on Christmas, and will see a wide release on 1/8. The soundtrack will be released digitally on Christmas Day.
