Ibeyi comprises Lisa-Kaindé Díaz and Naomi Diaz, twin sisters who happen to be the daughters of Buena Vista Social Club's Miguel "Anga" Díaz. Their self-titled debut album was released this year on XL, and "Stranger/Lover" is one of its excellent singles. Mark Ronson just gave "Stranger/Lover" the "re-fix" treatment, which completely transforms the track's early sound into something much more funk-influenced. Ronson told The Fader the following:
I’ve never worked so closely with an artist when doing a remix before... It was more like producing a track from scratch than making a remix.
