Sometimes, James Corden’s Late Late Show comes off like some kind of extended fantasy-camp wish-fulfillment experience for Corden. Case in point: Last night, Corden got to briefly join one of the most popular bands in the world. Fellow Brits Coldplay were on his show to flog their whatever new album A Head Full Of Dreams. On a flower-strewn stage, they did an energetic and Corden-free version of their single “Adventure Of A Lifetime.” But they also played the album’s title track, and on that song, Corden joined them on piano and looked very, very excited to be there.
